Ferdinand News has been a business in Dubois County since 1906, surviving many economic disasters throughout history and still remaining to thrive in an industry hardpressed in a digital world. The Tretters became owners of the business in 1990 and also own the Spencer County Leader.
They work every day to keep it local and provide accurate, whole-story reporting to the communities they serve. They were the recipient of the 2016 Blue Ribbon Award, the most coveted award in the newspaper industry.
